Hampton Inn Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra Beach-Mayo Clinic Area

The bed was the best part of this trip!! I melted into it and had no back pain the entire trip. The breakfast stations were great too. Pet friendly.

The lady at check in, who was also working at check out, was extremely nice and helpful. We did not get her name, but she is around 5' 4", has dark hair, and wears glasses. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast had something for everyone. It is not a noisy area and the rooms seem to be insulated well. Our morning starting point was Ponte Vedra beach, so this was an excellent location. There are also some nice shopping areas nearby, including Trader Joe's, so you can pick up snacks for longer visits. We will definitely be back.

It is a really nice hotel for the price in the location is pretty close to the beach and close to Mayo clinic. So that's a wind. If you want to be in striking distance of either one of those, the free breakfast in the morning is okay. Pre-standard what you expected this level of hotel. The staff was really nice and the rooms were nice as well. It's a newer hotel. The location seems to be safe and no issues.

Two things pet area was not maintained very well we did appreciate availability. We did not like updated night stand, not enough space for items . TV was excellent but micro wave and frig was too low difficult eye levels . 24 hour coffee excellent.

My experience here was quite enjoyable! Sound travels a bit further than the rooms unfortunately, but the room itself was clean and comfortable. The water was always hot and breakfast was always stocked and clean! Rachel greeted us at the desk and was one of the friendliest humans I met in town this week. She was attentive, clear, and obviously took pride in making sure each guest was situated comfortably WHILE making cookies and keeping the coffee fresh. Honestly, she made my experience phenomenal, and my fiance and I missed her when she was off. Try to stay here when shes scheduled, and you'll have a better experience than not.

This place was clean. We always check hotels for bed bugs and dirt in our sheets. And not a single spec! The gals that run house keeping do a great job. Oh the breakfast was super yummy too just get creative. It's a comforting hotel and easy access to the beaches.

Faucet handle came off as soon as we turned it on. Called front desk. She said no one was on site to fix it. In breakfast area, the hostess never made eye contact or said hello to us. She did, however greet another couple as soon as they arrived. She also asked if they needed anything else before she started closing down breakfast. Note: If you are uncomfortable being friendly to all types of people, you shouldn't be there. Front desk personnel were kind upon check in friendly everytime we passed by. Fantastic stay for Mayo Clinic patients and athletes! Super close to the Mayo Clinic and offers a special Mayo Clinic rate. Outstanding, newly remodeled fitness center with a Peloton bike, real dumbbells, and a cable machine— not your typical hotel gym. They had a great breakfast with plenty of options. Overall, it was very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again!
